AbiCAD are seeking an ambitious CAD Draughtsperson with experience working on the finer details of building envelope design & material scheduling for architectural cladding, roofing & rainscreen applications.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CAD Draughtsperson seeking more rewarding work, taking responsibility for complete projects from design stage through to construction, working in close partnership with architects and contractors throughout to provide aesthetic designs, within brief, within cost and on time.
Your responsibilities will include the production of layouts, detail drawings and material scheduling in a variety of roofing, cladding and rainscreen systems (i.e. Kingspan / Kalzip / Trespa/ ACM/ Aluminium).
Projects can range from several months to 1 year+, often for prestigious clients. Previous projects include Wembley and Twickenham Rugby Stadiums, International Airports, one off bespoke homes for prestigious people and The Princess Royal Grandstand at Cheltenham Racecourse.
This an exciting opportunity for an experienced person seeking to focus on roofing, cladding and rainscreen systems, working for one of the UK's most highly regarded sub-contractors, using Solidworks deployed on the latest HP Z440 Workstations.
