Why SOLIDWORKS Animation?
This course focuses on the ability to create animations from your SOLIDWORKS Parts and Assemblies. We will cover various topics looking at automated and manual methods of creating animations featuring camera views, changing appearances and controlling the motion of components.

We investigate various visual techniques when creating moving cameras, including points-of-view for walk-throughs as well as attaching cameras onto moving objects. Advanced In-Context modelling techniques will be used to simulate real-life interactions – removing material with a tool or winding cable from one reel to another.

Finally we will cover the production of fully rendered animations and various other post-processing techniques.

PREREQUISITES
  • Essentials and Assembly training course. Familiar with Microsoft Windows Operating System

James is a great trainer, very patient and answered all questions diligently.

I would ask if it would be possible for solid solutions to add a mouse marker on click, so that you are able to see where the trainer is clicking on screen. Some of the tasks in the training manuals should not require you to follow the content, I believe it would more beneficial to watch the trainer's screen as these tasks are very simple.

Good knowledge of course and time keeping however I felt as though he sounded like he got a little impatient at times.

Jordan was great and I felt sorry for him at the end of the day. Despite his best efforts, the teaching was quite stressful for him at the end of the day. One day is simply not enough to go through lessons in steady way. The lessons were very intensive, leaving no room for errors or longer exercises. I was missing last 20 minutes of last lesson as we were closing at 5pm and course was still going pass this time. I suggest early start next time. Otherwise, I love it! Thanks.
