What 3DEXPERIENCE Role do I need?

There are two main 3DEXPERIENCE roles that are required for use on the current selected Jaguar Land Rover projects.

In addition to these two main roles, our JLR package includes:

Support from our Technical Consultant to install the 3DEXPERIENCE Client
Assistance to connect to the Jaguar Land Rover platform
Optional Helpdesk Support once you start using 3DEXPERIENCE
Optional CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE training
Advice on Collaboration Methods so that you can work with your own Supply Chain

JLR Supplier CAD Exchange (JLR-CADEXH)

This entry-level role is for anyone who exchanges CAD Data with JLR and provides all the tools necessary to login into the Jaguar Land Rover 3DEXPERIENCE platform. From there users can search for, and download, relevant data and collaborate with other team members. In addition, users of the JLR Supplier CAD Exchange can export data via 3DXML, IGES or STEP for use in downstream activities and systems.

As the JLR-CADEXH includes the 3DEXPERIENCE SheetMetal Designer role, users have access to CATIA 2D Layout for 3D Design, CATIA (3D) Part Design Essentials and CATIA Bent Part / Sheet Metal Design.

The JLR Supplier CAD Exchange Bundle includes the following: JLR CADEXH 3DEXPERIENCE License consists of the following 3DEXPERIENCE products:

Configuration Management (CFG)
Change Management (CHG)
Collaborative Innovation (CNY)
Industry Innovation (CSV)
Business Innovation (IFW)
SheetMetal Designer (SMW)

JLR Supplier CAD Body in White User (JLR-CADBIW)

This role is for any supplier who exchanges CAD Data with JLR and provides all the tools necessary to login into the Jaguar Land Rover 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Once logged into the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, users can search for, and download, relevant data and collaborate with other team members. Further to the above, users of the JLR Supplier CAD Exchange can export data via 3DXML, IGES or STEP for use in downstream activities and systems.

In addition to the above, JLR-CADBIW package has a full set of CATIA authoring tools that enable users to fully design, document and annotate both simple and complex 3D parts and assemblies as well as BOM configuration.

The JLR Supplier CAD Body in White Bundle includes the following: JLR CAD Body in White License consists of the following 3DEXPERIENCE products:

Configuration Management (CFG)
Change Management (CHG)
Collaborative Innovation (CNY)
Industry Innovation (CSV)

3DMaster Conceptual Designer (M3C)
3DMaster Designer (M3D)
