Geomagic for SOLIDWORKS (G4SW) Training
Our Geomagic for SOLIDWORKS (G4SW) training is a one-day course covering the basic workflows and commands of the G4SW add-in.
During this course you'll learn how to use G4SW to use scan data as the basis for CAD modelling in SOLIDWORKS.
The training will cover the following topics:
  • Scanning
  • Registering scan data
  • Aligning scan data
  • Editing Mesh models
  • Geomagic modelling tools
  • Autosurfacing

Course Prerequisites

  • Experience with the Windows™ operating system
  • Basic experience with SOLIDWORKS

I travelled up to Leeds to attend the Solidworks Essentials module and had the pleasure of being trained by Abdelkarim Deesi. Karim is an exceptional teacher who was always on time, very engaging and extremely well spoken. Karim made the course interactive and gave out so much insight on the software and training modules/videos available for further development. He even sent out links for which we can s use in our spare time to research and improve our skills,

Overall, the essentials module was a brilliant course which taught me lots about Solidworks and the future steps to take, thanks to Karim and his amazing delivery.

Wishing him all the best and I will be happy to take on more modules if every instructor is as good as he was.
