File references are automatically updated should a file be moved or renamed, saving time spent fixing references.
Parent-child references can be viewed from inside Windows Explorer
Build your own user-defined references between files. Take advantage of this capability to produce complete BOM data by attaching non-CAD data or data from different CAD systems without needing to convert it to SOLIDWORKS. It is also possible to link specification sheet or engineering change files with chosen CAD models.
