About the course

4-Day Standard CATIA V5 Manufacturing training course will allow the trainee to learn prismatic and surface machining techniques, clash detection, efficient process methodology and more.

Learn to create a Manufacturing Program, simulate it and generate outputs; Define and manage prismatic (2,5 axis) operations, being aware of all capabilities in terms of strategies, parameters and transition paths and more.

Objectives

Create a Manufacturing Program, simulate it and generate outputs.
Define and manage prismatic (2,5 axis) operations, being aware of all capabilities in terms of strategies, parameters and transition paths.
Define and manage NC programs dedicated to machining parts designed with Surface or Solid geometry using 3-Axis machining techniques.
Use the PMPA to define and manage NC programs to machine parts designed in 3D Wireframe or Solid geometry with 2.5 Axis machining operations and how this product assists the NC programmer in making the link between Design and Manufacturing.

Pre-Requisites

Students attending this course should be familiar with the Fundamental CATIA V5 Foundation.
