About the Event

Join us for the Manufacturing Showcase to explore how automation in manufacturing can aid your production process today! This event is designed to bring together industry professionals of all levels and share ideas on how knowledge can be retained and reused to make the production process easier.

Learn from industry experts on how time to production can be reduced for metalworking with SolidCAM, how SWOOD can help retain and reuse design intent, machining strategies and automate reports for woodwork, delve into the capabilities of Delmia and how you can program robots and cobots to automate simple tasks in your production facility.

Experience how these solutions work in reality in our exhibition space with areas showing the link from software to hardware, alongside stands from industry partners exploring related areas such as; 3D printing, tooling, fixturing, CNC machines and much more. This will serve as a tangible demonstration of the power and potential of automation in manufacturing.

Whether you’re an industry pro, a newcomer, or just interested in the future of manufacturing - this event offers insights from experts in our industry, supported by real-world success stories and a unique opportunity to have access to market-leading technical teams, partner brands and hands-on product demos, all in one place!

The first 30 registered attendees to sign in at each venue will receive a set of complimentary Mitutoyo Vernier Caliper as a thank you for joining us - don't miss out!

Exhibiting Partners

Exhibition Hall Displays

Explore our live tech booths on-site, with a wide range of manufacturing technologies and hardware, and real-life products examples at your fingertips. Our experts will be on hand to discuss your specific business needs and offer their expertise on the solutions best suited for you.

SWOOD

Watch a walkthrough of how our woodworking software can create custom kitchen designs from a simple floor plan to effortlessly create a bespoke kitchen that customers can view in a virtual environment before signing off for manufacture.

Creating one off bespoke designs or variations on a theme has never been easier with the help of SWOOD. Watch a walkthrough of how SWOOD can create a fully detailed room layout from a basic 2D floor plan that customers can view in a virtual environment before signing off for manufacture.

Solid Print3D

Solid Print3D showcase high performance, affordable additive manufacturing technologies that supplement and work alongside traditional manufacturing techniques. From prototype production, end-use jigs and fixtures we’ll demonstrate desktop technologies support your manufacturing goals.

SOLIDWORKS CAM

With the need to produce a large number of components more quickly than ever, we assign tolerances in the SOLIDWORKS part, create a fixture to hold multiple pieces to be machined all at once and then inspected for dimensional accuracy.

SolidCAM

Visit our Job Shop Demonstration from receiving a non-native SOLIDWORKS file we recreate the machining environment, apply toolpaths, simulate and produce NC code for the Pocket NC to create the part.

Job shops and R&D departments require quick turnaround and flexibility to produce a broad range or parts with varying complexity. This demonstration shows how to handle non-native SOLIDWORKS files where we can recreate the machining environment, apply toolpaths, simulate and produce NC code for the Pocket NC to create the part.

Sigma

Starting with a mixture of SOLIDWORKS parts and DXF’s we generate a production order. Parts for the order are nested and a quote is generated to give to the customer. From here the nest is sent to the waterjet and the parts are cut.

Robotics

Traditionally used by large corporations, the use of robotics is fast becoming a necessary requirement for manufacturers of any size.

Take a look into the world of offline robot programming and factory layout to see how this up and coming technology can be both accessible and hugely beneficial to almost any manufacturing application or business.

Biesse

Biesse machining centres work seamlessly with SWOOD Design, CAM and Nesting modules to allow you to send jobs directly from design to machine, reducing programming time and errors while maximising efficency. SWOOD has the flexibility to integrate directly with our range of 5 axis, nesting, drilling and sizing machines.

With UK based service, support teams and demo facilities, Biesse offers machines to process a wide variety of materials, helping them to optimise and simplify their production.
